Sea Shepherd finally get the green light to sink some more whaling ships

Reports are coming in that the Japanese have sunk the Sea Shepherds very-cool looking boat called the Ady Gil by ramming it with one of their giant ships. The Ady Gil was able to avoid radar and zipped about the ocean like it had evolved there. Here’s a quick and completely accurate sketch of the boat.

This will be a big pain in the arse for Sea Shepherd, but now they can go right ahead and sink some whaling ships because it’s now less likely anybody, apart from the Japanese, will complain.  Sea Shepherd don’t have cruise missiles or sea mines or anything like that, but they are resourceful enough to be able to drop some divers in the water under one of the anchored ships and put small explosives in the right places. Then the boats will be sent to the bottom of the ocean and less whales will be used for tasty, tasty research. Sea Shepherd did something similar to this to the Icelandic fleet which you’ve probably never heard of because Sea Shepherd sunk it.

With any luck Sea Shepherd will video it so everybody can enjoy seeing those boats finally get what they deserve.
